Purpose for Youth Ministry of Sidney E-Free
"The youth ministry of Sidney Evangelical Free exists to LEAD unbelieving students to Jesus Christ, CONNECT them to other Christians who help them GROW in their faith, training them to PRACTICE their God-given gifts, HONORING God with their lives."
LEAD - Communicate the "Good News" of Jesus Christ to unbelieving students.
CONNECT - Provide fellowship with adult and student Christians.
GROW - Training students to becoming honoring disciples of Jesus Christ.
PRACTICE - Providing students opportunities to "live out their faith."
HONOR - Helping students worship God with their life.
Our high school group is composed of all students 9th - 12th grade. We meet at the Upper Room above Steffens Home Interiors in downtown Sidney. "The Growing Edge" means we want students to grow in Christ and live on the cutting edge for Christ. Our youth have many opportunities to study God's Word, worship, fellowship and serve through fun activities.

Middle School Ministry - Our middle school ministry is for students in the 7th and 8th grade. We meet every Wednesday night at the Upper Room for Bible study, food, and fun. This group meets from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. On Sunday mornings our middle school students meet with Mark Flander at 9:30.

All of our out-of-town events require notarized permission/liability waiver slips. Please have your slips turned into youth staff by the day of the event. THESE ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED for out-of-town trips!
